How is it October? I feel like we were just celebrating New Years with our family and friends over mugs of wassail and board games. Time really does fly...
And yes, here is another shot of the glorious dahlias via the Pike Place Market.
And now it's October and I'm happy for fall. Today, as I was running errands, I passed a brick church that packs their lawn full of pumpkins every season to sell as a fundraiser for their youth group. They had the prettiest gourds and creamy white and mossy green pumpkins. Tomorrow I think I'm going to pick up a few. I'm all ready for pumpkins and squash and soups. I bought apple cider and yams at the market today. We're supposed to have cooler weather next week and I have a nice vegetable curry in mind for dinner one night. And those are the fall ramblings of my mind tonight.
What are yours?
P.S. Tune in next week for a recap of the Horseshoe Market! It's going to be lovely!
oh my goodness those are lovely! I love pumpkin patches... Maybe we should get the boys together and to visit a pumpkin patch and drink salted carmel cocoas!
