Now for something different...

So I heard Lisa Kudrow talking on NPR about her favorite movies. Even though this isn't a movie, she mentioned this video at the end of her conversation. It is an incredibly beautiful video of Lil' Buck dancing to The Swan, played by Yo Yo Ma. It's like nothing I've ever seen before. The way Lil Buck folds his body down at the end looks like he knows exactly how a swan moves.

Have a lovely weekend!

A Few New Goodies

Finding a little time when Baby O is sleeping to craft has been so good for me. I enjoy it more when I can't do it any old time I please. Having an hour here or there makes the time more sacred and I'm feeling a tad more inspired than I thought I would at this point in my life.
I've been having a ball making earrings lately. The ones above are made from vintage hankie material, wrapped in white and gold twine and finished with pale pink cabochons I ordered through Etsy from a seller in England.
These little beauts are also made from a vintage hankie and finished with twine and vintage buttons. They would be quite adorable with a white or red sundress and I kinda like that they're a little different from the other.

These along with other similar styles are available in my shop right now and are priced reasonably - between $12 and $16 so hop on over and take a peek!

Patriotic Baby

This is a bit late, but Happy July 4th friends! Did you have a nice holiday? Kinda weird and annoying that it landed on a Wednesday, eh? Ike told me that Thursday felt like a Monday. That's never good.
Anyway, Baby O got his patriotic groove on and his papa and I took a zillion photos of him waving mini flags.
Even though it was a quiet day at our house with just a small gathering of friends for evening kabobs and s'mores, it was still my most favorite 4th ever - for obvious reasons. I mean, what's not to love about a baby waving flags to and fro?

And no 4th would be complete without a little Neil Diamond. Am I right?

Have a lovely, summery weekend!
