Paper Project: Vintage Collages

I love the quality of old paper. The 1960s McCall magazines I picked up a while back are exactly what I'm talking about. Yellowed paper, fabulous fonts, a distinct old-paper smell. I can't get enough of the hilarious (although meant to be serious at the time) phrases and adds that beg to be cut up and used for something else - which is what I attempted in the making of these collages.

 A simple frame, a few choice words (nice ones that is) and voila, a sweet little message to place on a shelf, desk or wall.
