What a lovely time I had hosting another handmade boutique at my house on Sunday! A hearty thank-you to all the dear women that stopped by to chat, shop and support local artists. For those of you who couldn't come, here's a little taste of the afternoon:
I made little flag banners to create a festive summery feel - sort of like a country carnival. Too bad we didn't have a snow cone cart and a ferris wheel on my back patio!
We served sweet and salty popcorn in old school bags, iced circus animal cookies and chocolate dipped strawberries. So cute!
Blood orange and pomegranate Italian sodas were a fun and fizzy beverage.
Kara from Kara Rosenberry Co brought her line of darling cards and some wonderful vintage home wares.
Aren't these single cards sweet as can be?
One lucky shopper took home these fabulous vintage tins!
Kayla of Whimsy Lou joined the boutique merriment for the first time and brought an assortment of her funky and creative repurposed vintage cake stands, handmade jewelry, wreaths and other goodies!
I love the cheerful colors of this wreath by Whimsy Lou.
And of course I had a fresh batch of headbands and clips on hand. It's always a treat to see shoppers try them on.
Here we are just basking in the after glow of a successful summer boutique.
Thanks Kara and Kayla for showcasing your beautiful goods!
xo!
